This is my first blog and it's part of my goals for 2010. Creating a blog wasn't the goal. The blog is simply a tool for me to document my goals as I create, set, and achieve them. I'm excited for this year. I'm excited to grow more as a person and grow closer to new people. So for anybody who might actually stumble across this and read it, I'd like for you to know me.
I'm Emily and I'm in my second year of college. My degree program is forensic investigation and before you ask, no, I have no idea what I want to do with that. I love challenges and conquering them. I like big adventures and going places I've never been before. I have tattoos. I love God and sometimes I have a really bad attitude. My heart has a soft spot for kids and animals. I'm a closet hopeless romantic, but shhh, it'll ruin my "I don't care" reputation! I am blessed beyond belief with my friends, which is why, in my opinion, I'm not so lucky in love. I mean, come on, you can only have it all in one area of your life. I use smiley faces when I don't know what to say and I like to paint my nails black because it's pretty, not because I'm gothic.

My first few challenges for 2010:
Workout everyday - even if it is just on the Wii.
Knit a blanket.
Buy a devotional book, and seriously follow it.
